Introduction
Mars is the only planet that’s made out of a red globe. You can’t live on Mars, it’s too hot and you’ll die from getting burned. Mars got its name from a roman god of war and Mars has lots of hot volcanoes and dust storms. Did you know that Mars is about half the size of earth. Did you know in the 20th century people thought there was living species on Mars.
Appearance
Mars is a red planet and it’s called a red planet because of the colour of Mars and because of how it’s really hot. When you see a picture of mars you’ll see that it’s smooth but for real that’s not the real picture. If you know it’s the real picture you’ll see that it’s rocky and how you can see some lumps. Mars is red because how the is no layer to protect it and it’s because it’s hot, if there was a layer to protect it, Mars might be a little blue and it’ll be known as a blue planet not a red one. Mars is lumpy because it has lots of volcanoes, lots of mountains and it really has lots of dust storms and you’ll get blown away from it.
Could Humans live on Mars
Could humans live on Mars? No they can’t, it’s too cold too live on.
You can’t live on Mars because Mars doesn’t have a magnetic field like earth and UV rays will go to Mars and it’ll give you skin cancer. Mars is a planet you can’t live on because Mars has a thin atmosphere and that causes Mars to have not that much oxygen to breathe. Don’t ever go to Mars, you’ll get blown away from dust storms and anything in it’s way will be in heaps of danger, also if you’re at Mars and a dust storm comes to you, you’ll be in danger because that dust storm will make lots of dust storms and the storms will be up and running for months.
If you ever go to mars you should be aware of all the danger in front of you and all the danger behind you.

Kia ora Sitaleki,
ReplyDeleteYou've included some interesting facts about Mars, but I am a little confused - is it a hot or cold planet?
In terms of your writing, your next learning steps are:
1) To write a clear introduction (without too much information!)
2) Write different types of sentences - not all running on (i.e. too long!)
